Naomi and I put in an offer on a home on Thursday night and then 23 hours later had a flurry of counteroffers and counter offers to counter offers. It appears that we have a home just off the north tollway in Plano, north of Dallas. The location is about 20 minutes to my office and about 30 minutes to the airport. We have to go through inspections and all those things. We hope to close on April14, prior to our goods arriving from New Zealand. The house has great entertaining space, including a great outdoor patio with a fireplace, sink, small refrigerator and seating area. We have always considered our home, an important part of our ministry.
Celestin Musekura, the founder of ALARM has just finished an important week in Sudan and has several more weeks yet in Africa.
Naomi and I were out shopping for appliances . . . we will need a washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, television and other items like this. We think our house will be a bit empty of furnishings when we first move in. We will be happy to settle in.
