I have been teaching at Temple this weekend. I teach in the Executive and Professional MBA Program in the Fox School of Business. I teach an entire course over the weekend with students doing considerable reading coming into the weekend and then completing a number of assignments after the weekend. This particular course is Organizational Communication. The students are a real joy as they come in with professional experience and a great diversity of backgrounds. I really enjoy the interactions with students and professors I have in a number of settings.

Africa and Education
Posted Tue May 18 at 7:53 pmI am reading Greg Mortenson's book Stones Into Schools. He is known for his book Three Cups of Tea. Mortenson was a mountain climber whose life was saved by the mountain people in Pakistan. The experience led to his establishing schools for girls in this country in which education has often been denied.

Update on Container
Posted Tue May 04 at 9:08 amWell, most of our earthly belongings were originally scheduled to arrive, Friday, April 23. Then April 30 and now who knows when. We have relocation companies from New Zealand and the U.S. trying to track our container and to get it moving from Long Beach. Naomi and I were both scheduled to travel to the Northeast next week, May 10 but she is going to change her ticket depending on when the container arrives. I have business with ALARM and then am teaching at Temple University's Fox School of Business, Executive and Professional MBA program.
